Building on the success of the first edition of the Ferry Forum in Martinique, which brought together 200 key players, buyers, and distributors from the Martinique and Guadeloupe industries, Marfret will organize, this year in Guadeloupe, the second edition of this trade show aimed at stimulating interregional economic growth.
Deeply committed to serving the overseas territories, Marfret aims to contribute to the creation of a unified Caribbean market by facilitating connections between the two islands, with the goal of reducing the territories’ dependence on metropolitan imports and promoting a more autonomous and sustainable economy.
In this same spirit, Marfret has decided to support Cœur Martinique, an association that certifies local products. Agricultural, industrial, and artisanal products bearing this label gain more visibility for consumers who wish to support local jobs and contribute to the island’s economic development. Marfret also intends to support the emergence of a similar initiative in Guadeloupe.
