PORT FACILITIES

Marfret ships dock at the TTI terminal. Located in the south of Spain, a strategic point in the Strait of Gibraltar, TTI Algeciras has a concession area of 300,119 m², 57,621 m² of public maneuvering area, and two quay lines of 850 meters to the east and 550 meters to the north, with a draft of 18.5 and 17.5 meters respectively.

Algeciras has a refrigerated logistics platform capable of serving not only the southern region of Spain but also the rest of Spain's and Portugal's fruit markets, connecting producing regions such as Colombia or Costa Rica in less than 14 days.
As Spain's main hub for all maritime lines (mainly for transshipment), Algeciras is also a key port for exports to the United States and imports from the Far East.

MARFRET IN ALGECIRAS

The MARMEDSA agency has represented Marfret in Algeciras since 2001. Together, we have significantly developed reefer imports over the past three years on Marfret’s Medcar line.

The Marmedsa group is present in 7 countries (Spain, Portugal, France, Morocco, Algeria, Chile, Turkey) and has over 1,000 employees. Marmedsa is part of the NOATUM group, which owns terminals, warehouses, and logistics providers.
