The Port of Genoa has capitalized on its strategic geographical location between northern Italy and southern Europe, along with its long-standing maritime tradition, to offer high-quality services to all users.
The Port of Genoa spans 22 kilometers of coastline between the old port and the new port of Voltri. Genoa is a multi-service port with 21 terminals specialized in handling all major sectors of goods: containers, general cargo, perishables, steel, forest products, bulk, petroleum products, and cruise passengers. Today, Genoa is Italy's leading port in terms of both cargo and passengers.

MARFRET IN ITALY
AEM - Agenzie Europee Marittime - was founded in 1979 and began representing the first Marseille Fret ship, the "Peter Wash," bound for the French Antilles in 1980. Since 1992, AEM has been a subsidiary of Marfret. It represents Marfret as the exclusive agent in Italy, with a presence in both Genoa and Livorno.
